Terms and Conditons

According to the legislation of the Republic of Latvia, the owner of an online store must clearly outline the terms of product delivery, return, and the right of withdrawal. This declaration is known as a distance contract (Cabinet of Ministers regulations).

The website www.akberries.eu , operated by the sole proprietor Anna Kronberga, registration no. 20028411564, legal address: Vienības gatve 55, Rīga, LV-1004, Latvia (hereinafter – the online store), provides content and goods/services in accordance with the following Terms of Use .

1. General Terms

If a consumer purchases goods/services through the website, such a transaction is considered a Distance Contract andand is subject to the legal norms of the Republic of Latvia, including but not limited to the Consumer Rights Protection Law and Cabinet of Ministers regulations on Distance Contracts .

2. Making a Purchase

The prices and specifications of products sold in the online store are indicated next to each product.

To place an order, add the desired products to your shopping cart, fill in the required fields, and select a suitable delivery method. The total order cost, including delivery, will be displayed on the screen. Complete the payment to finalize your order.

3. Payment Terms

The transaction currency on the site is EUR (euros).

Payments can be made using the following methods via the makecommerce.lv platform, operated by Maksekeskus AS :

Online banking payments available from:

  • Latvia: Swedbank, SEB, Citadele, and Luminor
  • Estonian online banking payments: Swedbank, SEB, and Luminor
  • Lithuanian online banking payments: Swedbank, SEB, and Luminor
  • Finnish online banking payments: Aktia, Ålandsbanken, Danske, Handelsbanken, Nordea, Oma Säästöpankki, Pohjola, POP Pankki, S-Pankki, Säästöpankki
  • Visa/Mastercard card payments 

Note: If using internet banking, confirm your order and click "Return to merchant" to finalize the transaction.

The personal data required to process payments are transferred to the licensed payment institution Maksekeskus AS.

The agreement becomes effective upon successful payment. If the order cannot be fulfilled for any reason, the customer will be informed and the payment refunded as soon as possible, but no later than 14 days after notification.

4. Delivery Terms

Products are delivered within Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia via Omniva parcel terminals . International deliveries are handled by Latvijas Pasts (Latvian Post). All duties and taxes payable upon delivery to the destination must be covered by the buyer.

Delivery costs are displayed before confirming the order. Products are typically delivered within 5 business days . In exceptional cases, the delivery period may extend to 14 calendar days , with prior customer notification.

5. Right of Withdrawal

The buyer has the right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 calendar days of receiving the goods.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, goods must be used only for their intended purpose. The consumer is responsible for preserving the quality and safety of the goods during this period. If the goods are misused, damaged, used carelessly, or if the original packaging is lost or severely damaged, the online store may reduce the refundable amount accordingly.

To withdraw, please contact us by email at [email protected] within 14 days of receiving the goods.

  • Invoice number

  • Phone number

  • Date of receipt

  • Product name, price, and purchase date

  • Reason for return (optional)

The buyer bears the return shipping cost unless the return is due to an error (eg, incorrect or damaged item).

The buyer must return the goods to the seller without delay, and no later than 14 days after sending the withdrawal form. Upon receiving the returned goods, the online store will refund all payments received within 14 days in accordance with the Distance Contract.

The seller may withhold the refund until the goods or proof of return are received.

The online store is not liable for delays or non-performance of obligations caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

6. Processing of Buyer's Personal Data

The online store processes only the personal data necessary for order fulfillment, such as name, surname, and email address.

Personal data is transferred to delivery service providers to ensure the delivery of goods.

If you have expressly agreed to receive our marketing communications, we may periodically contact you with updates and special offers. For this purpose, we may use the email address you provided when signing up. You can unsubscribe from marketing messages at any time by emailing [email protected] .

7. Dispute Resolution

For any matters not covered in these terms, both the buyer and the seller agree to comply with the applicable laws of the Republic of Latvia. All disputes arising between the seller and the buyer shall be resolved through mutual negotiation or correspondence .
